Third graders in Mrs. Daniels’ class are implementing the Next Generation Science Standard and experimented with the force of air needed to precisely move 5 objects. They were investigating how an object’s properties affect the amount of force it takes to move a set distance of 2 inches. They recorded 4 trials and reflect and adjusted after each trial. Strategies were shared on methods of success through a final group discussion. It was fun to hear the buzz of a  room filled with excited scientists.
