The engineering design process can be tricky for kindergartners not to mention saying six syllable words. We put the bar high at Discovery Academy and our students reach it.

Magnets At Work

The students learned about the force of magnets beyond the surface area, how electromagnets can be turned on and off, and how magnets can work through a table.

Say Hello to Rodney Robot

We have a new member of the Discovery Academy family, Rodney Robot. Students in Take Apart Lab collected electronic parts and to cloth our robot. Students in Invention Convention Club will help cover his frame and Rodney will be back at the end of February in all his robot finery. Stop and shake his hand to welcome him.
