Mission: Challenge yourself to be a better writer by exploring different types and styles of writing. Be creative, don’t hesitate, show us what you can do.
Mission 1: The Comic Book
- Plan, Write, and Illustrate your own comic book.
- Create a summary sheet listing the idea and any characters
Mission 2: Poetry Book
- There are many different types of poetry. Research and explore some of them.
- Write 5 different poems of any type. They can be of the same type if you wish.
- You may illustrate them if you like.
Mission 3: If I could…..
- If you could be any animal for just one day, which animal would you be? Write a story about your experience as that animal for the day.
- If you could be any other person in the world for just one day, who would be? Write a story about your experience as that person for the day.
- If you could have any super power in the world, what would it be? Write an essay about your life with the super power, be sure to discuss the good and bad things that come with having your super power.
Mission 4: A Letter for Me
Write a letter to your future self. In the letter be sure to talk about your hopes and dreams for the future. What do you want to be or accomplish? What makes your happy, proud, sad, excited today?
