As part of their Invention Convention lesson, Discovery Academy 2nd graders went back in time to see how inventions have made our lives easier. Their morning started without technology or electricity in 1202 when Arabic letters replaced Roman numbers. They had to complete their math work on slate boards with chalk until the pencil was invented 1564 or (9:50 am today). Their day ended in 2016 when the new Google search engine, Kiddle was released just 5 days ago.
