A Glimpse of My Future 

What will your future hold? What kind of life do you want? The sky is the limit as you plan your future through this WebQuest.  

You will need to do the following:

1. Write about your current life: School,  chores, home, transportation. PLANNING SHEET

2. Complete an INTEREST PROFILE.

3. Start designing a slide PRESENTATION representing your life.

4. Select your post high school EDUCATION , CAREER , CAR and HOUSE.

5. Optional: Gather all the cost information in a SPREADSHEET.

Questions

To plan your project you need to research, answer specific questions and get cost information. 

Education
What training after high school will you need? What college, university or trade school would you like to attend? What will you study? What is the cost? What part time job will you have during school or over the summer?

Possible Connecticut Trade Schools, Colleges and Universities

Career
What would you like to do for a career? What sort of responsibilities would you have? What kind of advancement is possible? How much money can you expect to make?

Automobile
What kind of car would you like to drive? What are the extra features you think the car should have? How much will the car cost and how much is the insurance?

Home
Where would you like to live? What kind of home do you dream of owning? How much will it cost. What will be the yearly insurance you will have to pay?

Final Presentation

·    A typed request letter that was sent to your education of choice.

·    An interview of someone in your field of interest PLANNING SHEET

·    A SPREADSHEET spreadsheet containing all important cost information.

·    A PRESENTATION outlining the highlights of your future.
