The Discovery Invention Convention was a huge success with close to 90 design engineers sharing their amazing inventions. Students showed great perseverance as they presented to 300 children and 100 adults. The judges were so impressed with the presentation skills, problem solving, design revisions and creativity. A special congratulations goes to our nine winners that will be going to compete in the Connecticut Invention Convention State Finals at UCONN.
Luke, Isabella, Eric, Faith, Nathan, Cailin, Vaibhav, Laasya and Alex will show what Discovery Academy students are made of. We also want to send a shout out to our wonderful judges: Christine Holley, Tom Reed-Swale, Diane Leja, Jamie Reichenberg, Noelle Garneau, Tom Brodnitzki, Chaleigh Casas, Dan Aloi and UCONN Engineering Ambassadors, as well as our parent volunteers. Thanks for making my first Invention Convention a huge success – Fondly, Mrs. Neseralla
Congrats!
What grade are those students in?
Second, third and fourth.
Another amazing job from these wonderful students. Can’t wait to see what they’ll do next. Kudos to both teachers and students.
