As Discovery’s solar panels are being installed I keep seeing all the STEM connections:

– Science in energy production and getting power from the sun.

– Technology in the leveling tools being used to make sure the foundation is even

– Engineering in the design of the panels, footings and the leveling plates

– Math in the 30 degree angle of the base and the required 42 inches the piling must be buried to go below the frost line.

Can you think of any other STEM connections?
